      what we provide

Energy Efficiency Improvements & Available Rebates

A repair estimate shouldn’t come with surprises. Cold Cloud provides upfront pricing before any work begins, so you know the full cost up front. Every repair is backed by a written warranty, giving you confidence the fix will hold through the season and beyond.

Heating systems involve gas lines, electrical components, and airflow working together, so a real repair means checking all of it, not just swapping the first part that looks worn. Cold Cloud technicians run a full diagnostic before recommending any fix, catching the actual cause instead of a symptom that returns.

Wow, great service! My furnace stopped working, so I called to schedule a service appointment. They were able to explain over the phone what I needed to check, and now it's working again! Thank you!

Cold Cloud Mechanical replaced my old furnace with a Daikin 17.5 SEER2 heat pump. This is hands down, the dream HVAC contractor I have ever found and worked with. Thanks to Daikin's Comfort Pro contractors list where I found Cold Cloud Mechanical! It started with Alex who came out on a Saturday late afternoon for an estimate. With Alex's engineering background, the Heat pump system was designed perfectly from the get-go. The complete transparency in pricing, scope of work, time frame and contract/warranty terms are so compelling that I signed the contract right away. This was followed by Peter's pre-installation visit (unheard of from all my previous HVAC installation experiences). Peter's brilliant idea of using an adjustable metal stand allows full compliance with local codes without additional cost of a new concrete slab. The installation team with clear instructions from Peter was simply amazing! They paid so much attention to details and really took their time to make sure everything was done correctly and professionally.

Questions Worth Asking Before You Approve a Repair

      Service DetailWhy It Matters
Is the system on R-22 refrigerant?R-22 is phased out — a recharge runs expensive and argues for replacement over a refill
Is the failed part under the manufacturer's parts warranty?A compressor or coil can be factory-covered for 10 years even when the labor isn't
The $5,000 ruleMultiply the unit's age by the repair quote; past ~$5,000 replacement usually wins
Get the failed reading documented, not just the part nameA logged measurement (microfarads, amps, subcool) protects you from paying twice
Is the diagnostic fee credited toward the repair?Ask up front — many shops waive it once you approve the work
