How we work across Los Angeles
Every installation starts with a load calculation for your home, not a match to the old equipment. Every repair starts with a diagnosis, and you get the price in writing before any work begins.
In the City of Los Angeles, a new or replacement system needs a mechanical permit from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) and must meet Title 24. We handle the permit and the inspection. Rebates depend on your utility and your home; current programs are on our rebates and financing page.
Heating in Los Angeles: questions
What is included in heating services?
Installation, repair and maintenance of heating systems such as furnaces, heat pumps and heaters, including inspections and safety checks.
How often should I schedule maintenance for my heating system?
At least once a year, preferably before the heating season. Regular maintenance finds problems early and keeps the system efficient.
What are the signs that my heating system needs repair?
Uneven heating, strange noises, higher energy bills or unusual smells from the unit. If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas company or 911 first.
Is there a rebate for a new heating system?
Homes served by LADWP may qualify for a rebate on a qualifying heat pump, and homes with SoCalGas service may qualify for a rebate on a qualifying high-efficiency gas furnace. Each program confirms eligibility.
