How we help with the paperwork

  1. 01

    Check what fits

At the assessment we confirm your utility, how the home is heated today and which equipment pair qualifies.

  2. 02

    Prepare the documents

We prepare the supporting documents the application needs, including the AHRI certificate for the equipment, the HERS verification report and the city inspection record.

  3. 03

    Submit the application

The rebate application is submitted by the homeowner through their utility account, and we help with the submission if you need it.

  4. 04

    Wait for confirmation

Utilities review the application after the final inspection. The utility confirms the amount.

Rebate questions

(747) 298-8580
Do you apply for the rebate for me?

For utility rebates, the account holder applies through the utility. We prepare the supporting documents and help with the submission if you need it. The Daikin instant rebate is applied by us on your invoice.

Can rebates be combined?

Each program sets its own rules. LADWP does not pay a second rebate for the same product from more than one California electric or gas utility. Burbank Water and Power asks you to report all other incentives. The Daikin FIT rebate cannot be combined with other offers. We check before the estimate.

Is there a rebate for a central AC only?

GWP and BWP rebates on this page are for heat pumps, not AC-only systems. LADWP and PWP have central AC rebates: $100 to $120 per ton by SEER2 (3-ton system: $300 to $360) at LADWP and $120 to $140 per ton (+$20/ton Pasadena contractor; +$120/ton income-qualified bonus) — 3-ton system: $360 to $420 at PWP.

Is the federal tax credit still available?

The federal 25C tax credit for heat pumps and other home efficiency upgrades does not apply to systems installed in 2026.

How long until the rebate is paid?

It depends on the program. PWP mails a check 6–8 weeks after approval. BWP pays up to 8 weeks after approval. SoCalGas generally pays in 6–8 weeks. LADWP and GWP do not state a payment time.

Rebates depend on eligibility, equipment and available funding and can change without notice; amounts shown are from program pages checked on October 25, 2026. The utility or program confirms the final amount.
